Service Network

Bodor service planning from incoming sample to production handoff

A laser cell is useful only when operators, process files, utilities, maintenance routines, spares, and escalation paths are ready together. Bodor service conversations therefore begin before shipment. The project brief records the intended material range, production pattern, site constraints, staffing plan, and acceptance criteria so commissioning work has a defined target.

This page describes a service framework, not a universal service-level promise. Available response channels, field coverage, parts stock, training language, and warranty terms vary by region and signed agreement. Confirm those items in the project quotation.

Four connected workstreams

Keep decisions attached to the machine record

01

Application Review

Engineers review drawing geometry, material grade, thickness range, surface condition, batch size, tolerance notes, edge expectations, and downstream bending or welding. A sample plan can isolate process variables before the factory acceptance stage.

02

Site Readiness

The handoff checks electrical supply, grounding, gas delivery, compressed air, extraction, chiller conditions, floor loading, access route, network requirements, and the safety responsibilities retained by the buyer. Unresolved utilities are logged before installation.

03

Operator Enablement

Training is organized around startup, shutdown, focusing and nozzle checks, material setup, nesting transfer, alarm response, cleaning intervals, and safe recovery. Competency must be confirmed on the delivered configuration rather than inferred from a generic course.

04

Lifecycle Care

Preventive work links inspection intervals to duty cycle, dust load, optical condition, cooling performance, assist-gas quality, and consumable wear. Critical spares and escalation contacts are agreed according to the production risk, not a one-size list.

Acceptance framework

Four records make a service handoff testable

The values below are workflow counts, not claimed performance statistics. They describe the minimum evidence set a project team can request.

01

Baseline Part

An approved material, drawing revision, and observable edge or weld criterion.

02

Parameter Record

Source power, speed, gas, nozzle, focus, and relevant setup state captured together.

03

Readiness Sign-off

Utilities, guarding, extraction, operator access, and site responsibilities reviewed.

04

Escalation Route

Named commercial and technical channels defined in the regional agreement.

Request a site and service readiness review

Provide the planned location, utility information, shift pattern, materials, and risk-critical parts. The review can identify the questions that belong in the commercial agreement and acceptance plan.
